FAQ

What's this site about?
This site is about me, the Drifter, and my experiences in the United States.

I love it!
Thank you very much.

I hate it!
Thank you not so much.

Can I subscribe to this website in any way?
Yes. First of all, there's an RSS feed. Then, there's also an option to subscribe your e-mail address, which means that you'll get an e-mail whenever I post a new entry.

I don't recognize the blog software... what is it?
I'm not surprised, because the total number of blogs out there with this software is one - this one. I built the software (called "Consternation") for this site, but it will most likely appear in a slightly variated form in the future. Available from March4, of course.

You built it all by yourself?
Um, almost. I've used some JavaScript libraries - script.aculo.us and Prototype, to be precise. Because why reinvent the wheel?

Rest of it is me.

What languages/programs did you use?
Consternation is built in object-oriented PHP5, MySQL 5 and JavaScript. The design was created in Photoshop and Flash (and valid XHMTL 1.1 and CSS too, of course). RSS is 2.0.

Where are the photographs from?
The photograph of me to the right was taken in January of 2007 by Swedish photographer Erik Textorius (dont stop the dance). The photo used in the "postcard" on top was taken by Natacha Loinger.
